Taco Bell units, from 51 to 58, for an overall company
increase of 57 to 64 (11% company growth). They also
operate 6 Pizza Hut stores. All units are in CA.
Tustin, CA-based MIMI'S CAFÉ (founded 1978)
has increased by 7 units, from 109 to 116 (6% growth)
and entered into the state of IL. We last mentioned
this concept in our 3/13/07 newsletter (3% growth).

has opened 17 units, from 123 to 140 (14% growth)
and entered into the states of NY and NV. Other trading
areas are AZ, CA, FL, TN, and TX. This company was
last featured in our 3/20/07 newsletter (4% growth).
This is a take-out, juice/smoothie concept. Operating
times are breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. Per person
check average is $2-$6. More than 90% of locations
are franchised.
Norcross, GA-based MAGGIEMOOS ICE CREAM & TREATERY
(founded 1989) has increased by 18 units, from 195
to 213 (9% growth) and entered into the state of NH.
This chain was last covered in our 3/13/07 newsletter,
then with a 4% growth and expansion into 2 states.
These are quick serve ice cream shops, open for lunch
and dinner hours, with a $2-$6 per person check average.

15 to 17 (13% growth). The new concepts are Four Wheels
Restaurant (1) and Versailles El Doral (1). Other
concepts are Café (1), Casa Juancho (1), El Viajante
(1), La Carreta (9), La Palma (1) and Versailles (2).
Units tend to be family/casual with catering and seating
for about 175. Cuisines include Spanish and Carribbean
with a per person check average of around $8-$20.

RAISING CANE'S headquartered in Baton Rouge,
LA (founded 1996) has increased by 5 units from 56
to 61 (9% growth) and expanded into MN. These are
quick-serve chicken restaurants with seating for about
70. The per person check average is around $3-$8 and
catering is offered. Locations are less than 20% franchised
and are in AL, CO, GA, LA, MN, MS, NE, NV, OH, OK,
