Naples, FL-based SPECTATORS SPORTS PUB has increased by 2 units, from 3 to 5 (67% growth) adding a location in OH, the company’s first restaurant outside of FL. These family/casual sports pubs are open for lunch and dinner, with a per person check average of $8-$20, and seating for about 200. Private party facilities are available.

SALAD CREATIONS OF AMERICA headquartered in Margate, FL (founded 2002) has increased by 2 units from 8 to 10 (25% growth). This is a fast casual, salad concept with seating for about 50 (1500 sq ft) and a per person check average of $2-$6. Locations are in FL, VA, NC, and OH and are more than 90% franchised.

Weatherford, TX-based CHICKEN EXPRESS (founded 1988) has increased by 8 units, from 120 to 128 (6% growth). Restaurants are quick service, with a per person check average of $3-$8 and seating for 40. Catering service is available at all locations. Units trade in the states of GA, OK, and TX. More than 90% of locations are franchised.

St Louis Park, MN-based GRANITE CITY FOOD & BREWERY (NASDAQ: GCFB, founded 1999) has increased by 4 units, from 14 to 18 (29% growth) and expanded into the state of WI. Restaurants are family casual, with a full bar and seating for about 250. Meal periods are lunch and dinner, with a per person check average of $8-$20. Other trading areas are IA, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, and SD.

Baton Rouge, LA-based RAISING CANE’S CHICKEN FINGERS (founded 1996) has increased by 12 units during the period, from 44 to 56 (27% growth) and 19 units over the past 8 months (51% growth). The company has expanded to include the states of AL and VA, with the first MN location to open next month. Other trading areas are CO, GA, LA, MS, NE, NV, OH, OK, and TX. Restaurants are quick service, with a per person check average of $2-$6 and seating for 70. Meal periods are lunch and dinner. Between 10 and 20% of locations are franchised.
