the most recent four-month period when researchers
discovered the growth from the prior four-month period
of researching the above companies. Research for this
quarter was concluded December 20th, 2006.
RestaurantChains.net is now presenting a quarterly
list of Top Ten Fast Growing Concepts
displaying quarter to quarter-recent growth captured
during our re-verification process. Each calendar
quarter we focus on a unique set of criteria in helping
to determine the parameters of the companies who are
considered. Information is derived and calculated
from the continual process of interviewing and verifying
more than 7300 restaurant chain concepts.
Parameters considered:
· A restaurant chain or group with at least
3 units.
· A restaurant chain or group with fewer than
50 units.
· A restaurant chain or group who grew by at
least 4 units.
· A restaurant chain or group that is a unique
brand.
· A concept with growth within the U.S. or
Canada.
· A restaurant chain or group with reliable
information available regarding unit counts and activity.

Papaya King due to their explosive display of recent
growth. Readers should know percentages are not annualized.
